Since these were broadcast prior to the Copyright Act that took effect on January 1, 1978, I presume these commercials are in public domain (er, most of 'em, at least) but I'm certainly no copyright expert. These were included on DVDs of "The Brady Bunch Variety Hour" duped from tapes of the original broadcasts made by producers Sid & Marty Krofft which I obtained from a collector. I've broken these into clips and shared them on various sites like RetroJunk over the years (and I'm posting some of them individually here too), but when I posted them as a complete collection on YouTube in 2013, the video quickly began averaging 1,000 hits a day. Due to the high quality, extreme rarity and overwhelming popularity, it seemed like a no-brainer to make them available for download on The Internet Archive in full DVD quality. Hope you enjoy.
Really thanks fore your explanation Vinnie Rattolle, that's a good news for me :D!

I didn't really know what I was doing when I uploaded this collection but I subsequently did a little bit of research on copyrights. As I understand it, prior to 1989 if there was no copyright prominently displayed on a work which was made publicly available (film, TV show, commercial) it automatically lapsed into public domain. The vast majority of these commercials don't include copyright notices and the ones that do can be excerpted under "fair use"(as if anyone remembers or cares that they hold the rights to a 40 year old commercial!).

Not much more to say, high school memories for me...

Highly varied selection of commercials
Ranging from excellent ("Mounds/Almond Joy") to abysmal ("Canada Dry Ginger Ale"), this is a highly varied selection of commercials, and that is what is great about it.

Thank you so much for uploading your 1977 collection, which is now in MY collection! I was around 15 when these commercials aired, and I remember each and every one of them! Quality is good, sound is good, and the memories are priceless!
